Club Deportivo del Oeste’s Golf Course is a 18 hole par 71 course that was designed by Jack Bender and opened in 1965. The Club is private, but the Golf Course is one aspect of the Club that is open to the public so feel free to call and book your tee time.
The key feature to Club Deportivo del Oeste’s Course is the trial by fire. The first hole throws you right into what is said to be the most difficult hole in Puerto Rico. Don’t worry, there is a putting green and practice area where you can warm up.
Beyond the Golf Course, Club Deportivo del Oeste has a very popular Marina and Tennis Courts. Since the Club is private, it is best that you acquaint yourself with their rules regarding access to other parts of the Club.
As we mentioned in a previous article, there are only three golf courses on the West Side of Puerto Rico: Club Deportivo del Oeste, Punta Borinquen Golf Club in Aguadilla, and Royal Isabela in Isabela.
